What is the difference between alocasia Sanderiana and Amazonica?
When I saw these two lovely plants, I instantly noticed the main difference between Alocasia sanderiana and Amazonica was in the leaves. The Amazonica leaves are so attractive! They have more complex veins because they're a hybrid. The Sanderiana leaves are distinctive, with more prominent, deeply veined leaves that are almost "krisp."
The difference is in the size of the leaves. Alocasia Sanderiana has smaller leaves than Alocasia Amazonica. The leaves look the same at first, but Alocasia Sanderiana has dark green leaves with white or silvery veins, while Alocasia Amazonica has dark green leaves with prominent white veins.
